A few words from Steve Briere, Owner and head instructor of CPGS, on why the Year Round Goalie Coach works!

“When I retired from playing and began coaching I had to find a way to coach goalies from a distance. At the time my family and I were living in Huntsville, Alabama and it wasn’t always easy to be where I needed to be! After much consideration I went on to develop a system using game video and other proprietary techniques and programs that would enable me to coach goalies from anywhere in the world.

I was hired by the Omaha Lancers of the USHL and in the first year of using the technique I produced the USHL MVP, leader in goal against, save percentage, shut outs, 1^st team All Star and best of all a FULL scholarship to UMASS.

In my second season, word spread, and I was rehired by Omaha and also joined the Topeka RoadRunners of the NAHL. In Topeka we have continued the same tradition producing scholarship, award winning goalies for 6 consecutive seasons.

Continuing to grow I was then hired by the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL in Saskatchewan, Canada, followed by the Fargo Force of the USHL.  Most recently I was hired to consult in the NHL. We have now decided to make our program available to goalies around the world with your Year Round Goalie Coach program”.

What does your Year Round Goalie Coach program have to offer?

•          Video analysis of game video with write ups on each clip for goalies to review at any time, from anywhere in the world.

 

•         From these specifically analyzed videos we develop a curriculum for our goalies to follow during training sessions and gage improvement.
