Who is Steve Briere?

Steve Briere is the owner and head instructor of Canadian Professional Goalie Schools. He is also the Goalie Coach for four Junior level teams who are, the Topeka Roadrunners of the NAHL, the Fargo Force of the USHL, the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL and the Casper Coyotes of the WSHL.  Steve is also an active participant in USA hockey and previously worked with the team USA U14 as their Goalie Coach as well as a USA Hockey CEP Instructor and District evaluator. Before joining his Junior teams, Steve was an assistant at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where the NCAA Division I Chargers captured the CHA Championship in 2007.

Along with coaching in the Junior Leagues and managing Canadian Professional Goalie Schools,  Steve is the Goaltending Director at the Bauer Emerson Prep Academy in North Saint Paul, MN, http://www.bauer-emerson.org/ where they offer on ice, off ice and educational schooling Monday through Friday.

As a goaltender Steve played in the NCAA D1 and USHL, followed by moving onto the Professional level in the AHL, IHL, ECHL and the Elite league in Britain. He brings over 19 years of instructional experience to the CPGS program.
